| Most supermarkets carry fruit flavored syrups and drink powders. You can also get favorite brands of cola, root beer and other syrups in gallon size containers from candy and tobacco wholesalers listed in the yellow pages. |
Soda Pop
Put several ice cubes and 2 tablespoons of flavored syrup in large glass and fill with chilled carbonated water from Kayser siphon. |
Grape Sour Sparkle
Put 2 tablespoons of defrosted grape juice concentrate and squeeze of lemon juice in 8 oz. glass and fill with frosty cold sparkling water from Kayser siphon. |

Catawba Flip
Break one egg into shaker or pitcher; add 3 tablespoons vanilla ice cream, 3 tablespoons grape syrup and scoop of crushed ice. Mix thoroughly and strain into tall glass. Fill with frosty carbonated water from Kayser siphon, shake ground nutmeg over top and serve immediately. |
Zappy Apple "Beer"
Fill Kayser siphon with apple cider and carbonate in the same manner as water. Dispense with full force into tall mugs or glasses that will hold the rich foaming "head."

Mint or Chocolate Angel Wings
Put 3 tablespoons mint or chocolate syrup in glass and fill within an inch of the top with ice-cold sparkling soda from Kayser siphon. Stir gently, then float 2 tablespoons heavy cream on top and serve without a straw. Lick lips and enjoy the "angel wings."

Orange Blush
Combine 1 can (6 oz.) defrosted orange juice concentrate, 1 1/2 cups cranberry juice cocktail and 1/4 cup sugar in pitcher. Add 2 cups of carbonated water from Kayser siphon and stir gently. Serve to 4 over ice cubes.

Egg Lemonade Ala Davis
Boil 3 cups water and 2 cups sugar for 10 minutes. Add juice of 4 lemons and grated rind of 1 lemon and chill. When ready to serve, beat well 1 egg until light yellow and mix with lemon syrup in large pitcher. Add 1 quart of sparkling water from Kayser siphon and stir gently. Put cracked ice in tall glasses and pour from as much height as you dare to make mixture foam.
Suggestion: Try this first outside on a patio or poolside.

In large pitcher or punch bowl, combine 1 bottle chilled red wine, juice of 3 oranges and 3 lemons, 1 cup brandy, 1 cup sugar and stir well. Add variety of cut fresh fruit in season (except melons). Tropical Wine Punch
Mix one bottle of chilled white wine with 1 quart of cold carbonated water from Kayser siphon. In large punch bowl, reconstitute 1 can (6 oz.) EACH of defrosted orange juice, lemonade and limeade concentrates as directed on cans. Just before serving add the carbonated water/wine mixture to the punch bowl. Stir gently and ice and thin lemon slices. Makes about 4 quarts.

Bouncing Swedish Meatballs
1 pound ground meat loaf mixture (beef, pork,veal)
1 teaspoon onion salt
1/8 teaspoon coarsely ground pepper
1 tablespoon cornstarch
1/2 cup carbonated water from Kayser siphon
1 tablespoon soy sauce
Mix well all ingredients except the ice-cold sparkling water and soy sauce. Add the seltzer and mix gently. Shape into small balls and arrange in single layer in shallow baking pan. Sprinkle with soy sauce and bake in hot oven (400 degrees) 15 to 20 minutes until well done and browned. Drain and serve hot or cold. Makes about 4 dozen.

Gaspacho Gusto
1 can (10 oz.) tomato soup concentrate
1/2 teaspoon garlic salt
1/8 teaspoon coarsely ground black pepper
1/2 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
1 tablespoon wine vinegar
1 tablespoon olive oil
1/4 cup hot water
Sparkling water from Kayser siphon
In blender, mix all ingredients except carbonated water at medium speed for 20 seconds. Chill mixture. At serving time, put 2 ice cubes and a stick of cucumber in on-the-rocks glasses and pour equal amounts of soup mixture into each. Fill with ice-cold seltzer from Kayser siphon, stir gently and serve to four grateful people.

Fluffy Party Pancakes
2 1/2 cups sifted flour
3/4 teaspoon salt
1 tablespoon sugar
1 egg yolk
2 cups carbonated water from Kayser siphon
3 tablespoons melted butter
1 egg white, beaten stiff
In large bowl, beat egg yolk then gently mix in sparkling water. Sift dry ingredients together into egg mixture and stir just until blended. Stir in butter, then fold in beaten egg white. Bake on hot griddle to brown on both sides. Serve with exotic fruits & syrups.
